- Category 1 is water from a clean or sanitary source. – Category 2 is water with some level of contaminants that could cause discomfort or illness if ingested. – Category 3 water is grossly unsanitary, and can lead to illness or death if ingested.
Move items out of the area that are not damaged and may get in the way of the company performing the restoration. Reason being is that if they have to move it you will be charged for it.

When acceptable levels of temperature, humidity and moisture are achieved, the job is over.
As with any job, carelessness is not okay. Research the guidelines recommended to see if the company is following them. If they are not, it is okay to ask why they are doing it different.
