An Introduction To The Advantages Of Protecting Children With Secure Access
The important of a safe educational environment for students, parents, and teachers is reinforced on a regular basis throughout cities around the globe. The need to protect children and educators has grown to the extent that extreme measures have been taken to make educational environments secure. Protecting children with secure access has become of primary important in today’s society.
Many attempts to protect children and educators have been made by individuals. Some education facilities incorporate the use of metal detectors designed to identify any weapons or unauthorized items when they are being brought into the school. Some schools utilize the services of police officers or guards who monitor the doors of the campus and attempt to restrict access of unauthorized individuals into the school.
However, these extreme measures are fallible. It is physically impossible for individuals to monitor the comings and goings of up to seven thousand students without an unauthorized entry or the need to be relieved at some point during the day. To meet the need for constant monitoring in a manner that is least intrusive for students, technology was incorporated to create a new system.
The Secure Access system was designed especially for the purpose of adding a layer of protection to students and academics educational environments. The system is small and looks like a garage remote device that is secured to the wall next to the entrance of a building.
This device provides many benefits to users. The system can be customized to open and lock doors at a specific time. It can be set to scan fingerprints to allow controlled access to a campus. Or, it can be controlled with a key fob scanner or card that will open the door.
The box is not intrusive or invasive. Educators, students, and other individuals who are authorized to be on the campus during school hours are enrolled in the central log and are then again to gain access to any door that is networked to the system. When access is limited to specific doors, the system can easily be adjusted to allow entry to specific areas within the campus. Therefore, students cannot gain access to teacher preparation areas, or the gym when there is not an adult present.
Protecting children with Secure Access as well educators, and parents. When a campus is spread over several buildings, the secure access system can be networked so that all entries are recorded and a report can be printed on command when there is some question about access to an area on the campus.
Protecting your whole family with controlled access for schools as well as controlled access for daycares and churches is in actual fact a very easy goal to accomplish. More info now available.
